Join your newsletter’s National Editorial Board
By participating in the National Editorial Board (NEB) for your PDI Global newsletter, you can:
- Help determine topics for upcoming issues and suggest how articles can be angled to best highlight the types of expertise your firm offers.
- Review written articles for content, quality and applicability to your target audience.
- Serve as a resource on specific topics and terminology related to your newsletter.
- Enhance your credentials and professional image.
- Make sure each newsletter issue has your stamp of approval before it goes out.
NEB members can be managers, partners, marketing directors or other experienced professionals. All we ask is that you have expertise in the topic areas covered by your newsletter and familiarity with the audience it addresses.
What’s involved
Your participation will require only minimal time. On a quarterly or bimonthly basis (depending on your newsletter’s frequency), we will e-mail a list of topic ideas for your review. We would like your comments within three business days, via phone or e-mail. When your newsletter’s NEB grows to three or more members, we will use conference calls to gather your ideas and suggestions.
If you volunteer to also review written articles for appropriateness, technical accuracy, tone and style, we would appreciate your input within five days of when we e-mail the drafts. And if you volunteer to serve as a resource for an article, the writer will contact you to determine the best way to share your expertise.
